Dezinaworld Challenge

Hi Everyone--
The new theme for the challenge at Dezinaworld is "stained glass." I collect stained glass, so I photographed a section of a large piece that hangs in my entry (seen above.) I added a background digitally and then, located this image of a Japanese woman. I put it all together and here are my results. June, thank you for your lovely challenge--and for being an awesome person!!!

Great job Cindy! Sounds like a fun challenge! I have some paper that is stained glass look pictures on vellum that are ready to be altered and applied to something. Maybe I will check this challenge out and see what the deadline is.

This is very pretty Cindy. I still don't know how to layer digital images. Congras to Roselle on being September's Ms Creative Spirit! Your little dresses of the month are so very sweet too. Best wishes for a wonderful weekend. :) Tammy

I really like stained glass, especially the kind that were in old houses...from the 1920s or earlier. There's something really "romantic" about it...and adds real style to any home :) :) :) Your piece is really nice!!! Have a great weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Cindy, this is exquisite. I love stained glass and only have it in suncatchers. I have a friend who has several windows of her house with real stained glass. It is so gorgeous. My dh and I went last month to the fine arts museum here to see the Tiffany exhibit. This was the only city in the US to have the traveling exhibit. It was really awesome. Almost a religious experience.

These were just gorgeous! I just loved stained glass! Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your kind comments. So nice to meet ya!

I can't find my brochure to the Tiffany event, but I may be wrong about us being the only city in the US. I do know that there were only 3 cities in the world. I think they were Montreal, Paris, and Richmond VA, but don't hold me to this.
