Meet the "Sewing Girls!"

Hi Everyone--

I have just completed these brand-new tags that I couldn’t wait to show you! Why? Because it is now almost 11:30 at night and I started them at 2 this afternoon...I know, way too long, but I’m a perfectionist! (And no, I didn’t eat dinner, but that’s a good thing because Dr. Atkins, may he rest in peace, would be proud that I’ve stuck to this low-carb, or I should say “no-carb” diet!)

So, here are my “Sewing Girls!”

Just beautiful, Cindy! You certainly put a lot of detail and I can see why it took some time to put these together. I saved that image as well, although I haven't done anything with it yet.

Cindy, you're so talented! I wish I had the imagination and creativity to come up with something like this. Each one is a little work of art!

Gorgeous tags! I am always amazed how you can take bits and pieces and come up with such beautiful art. These are so dainty and elegant with the lace and all.

Hi Cindy. You asked about where I get my books bound. I do it myself with a Zutter binding machine, which will put the coiled wire in place, or I may just punch holes for ring clips to hold it all together.
I hope that helps, Cindy.
Thanks for your lovely comment.

You had me at cheesecloth! Love them! Beautiful. I really know what you mean about going until you are finished. I know I should let a piece sit and then patiently rearrange until it is done...but that's not me! I get an idea and BAM I make it. I've started to put things together but not adhere everything for 24 hrs in an effort to slow my creating process. We'll just see if that works!

They are beautiful...if I had the time to sew more, I would eat less as well. I hate stopping for anything! You really are talented in all things beautiful!

Oh, Cindy, they are BEAUTIFUL!!!

And, eating less is good...skipping too many meals entirely is not. So, be sure to eat healthy food on a regular basis.

Love you,
Patti
