Hi Everyone~

Today I received some amazing news--I just found out that I am a Ginger Gem on Gingersnap Creations!

I had submitted this piece in the contest--It's actually in my Etsy store. And it was chosen for their contest! Thank you to everyone at Gingersnaps!

* * *On Nov. 2, I will be having a week of creativity with a giveaway, tutorial, and "how-to's" to get your craft on for Christmas~I hope you'll join me for this event. I have art projects with instructions if you want to make them too!

* * *Then, the week before Thanksgiving, starting Nov. 14, I will have "A Week of Blessings." This is not about me--it's about all of YOU. I am hoping that you will come over and tell a story about either the blessings in your life--or a miracle that has happened to you. I have had a lot of miracles, so I will have to think of one in particular to share.

* * *I have created these Gratitude Journals with graphics from Dezinaworld and other embellishments. They are available in my Etsy store for under $10. I thought they would make perfect journals to write blessings in.

* * *UPDATE: WE JUST GOT HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL AND MY HUSBAND HAD THE SURGERY--PLEASE, STILL NEEDING YOUR PRAYERS!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Counting My Blessings

Hi Everyone~

This weekend, a big event is going on!

Beverly of Pink Saturday has teamed up to help raise money for Design Gives Back! This is a wondrous charitable organization with the amazing Kelee that has been featured on Oprah because of all the work that she and her volunteers do.

I hope that you will do me a BIG favor and leave a message on this post and also at Pink Saturday. For each comment that someone writes, money will be donated to this worthwhile cause--how neat is that?

In addition, the theme this week for Pink Saturday is “Counting My Blessings,” so I created this digital art with graphics from Shabby Cottage Studio. Thank you so much for coming to visit me and I’m so grateful for your comments!!

A Faerie Garden of Delights

Hi Everyone~

I created this piece for "Faerie Week" here on my blog...

and I had no sooner completed her than she went on her

way to my friend Sonya's house....

And she became a part of her beautiful vignette!

And today I have been busy creating this collection of

tags that I entitled "The Garden Variety."

They've got birds and eggs and flowers and all kinds

of springtime joy!

And I made holders for them to be nestled in...and

guess what I made the holders out of? I made them

out of coffee filters...and then decorated those

with my designs cut from my new Cricut machine.

(But, I must tell you that I have not figured out

how to use it yet...My husband cut them out for

me--my hero!)
