It's Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas

My mailbox has been filled with all kinds of surprises! The first is a gorgeous handmade card from my friend Donna at My Shabby Chateau! It is filled with glittery goodness!

Look what was inside the package wrapped so beautifully....These gorgeous icycles all hand-strewn...They are dreamy and they sparkle!!!!

And imagine my surprise when I opened the card with this gorgeous handmade cross from Dee at A Lapin Life--It is so dainty and precious--and Dee even has a tutorial on her blog about how to make them!

And I received a box from Linda at Random Creativity! In it were some items I could open before Christmas....and others on Christmas Day. There was this handmade wreath ornament and a precious book that is an ornament...I wish you could see these in person--they are stunning!

Here is a close-up of these precious treasures.....

And all the way from Scotland came this beautiful handmade card from Lynne at Adorn! And I put it right next to my tree....(which is where everything else has been displayed too.)

THANK YOU so much!!! You have touched my heart with your love, creativity, and kindness.

Dear Cin
This time of year it is wonderful to receive gifts, especially special ones that are hand made. You receive these treasures because you are a giving person, and although you say that these friends touch your heart, I think they will say that you have touched theirs and this is how they show their appreciation. Your gifts are so lovely, but the one that has really caught my eye is the book/ornament from Linda, how I would love to touch and look at it in real life, it is precious.
Hope your day continues to be full of Joy.

You are always a giver,Cindy, so it is nice you were blessed with such beauties from lovely friends.

We have been to Chalmette Battleground twice. Hubby wouldn't think of letting us pass up a piece of history. He said you are right, the boys didn't know the war was over & they died needlessly. Sad.

Merry Christmas
