Part of being home for the holidays is coming up with a creative idea for something special to make for my wonderful neighbors here in New Orleans! Well, I just completed making these Advent calendars...
But, this was not my original idea!!! Carol at The Answer is Chocolate not only came up with it, but she also has a FREE graphic to make one (or more!) So, if you want to pop over to see Carol and scroll down her page, you can grab the graphic--and please tell her I sent you--I know she'd be thrilled.
I just completed making a small gingerbread themed tree for my breakfast room and I thought it was such a cozy idea to have it nestled in a vintage train case...
I have a special tradition....Every year, I try to find a project to create for my friend Marcia in her favorite colors--turquoise and red! This year, I was lucky to find this image from dear June at Dezinaworld~a little girl carrying a Christmas tree home for the holidays!
And it hangs from seam binding....Marcia's blog is "One Heart at Home," so I always look for a design that includes a heart too!!!
I am entering this into the City Crafter Challenge~"Home for the Holidays."
My new book Mixed Media Art: Living Your Passion just became a Best-seller on Amazon!
To celebrate my book, I have a FREE seminar at the top of my blog called Amazing Art Adventure~Please join me--it's fun!
XO
Cindy
