If you love vintage style, there are simple ways to add timeless flair to your surroundings. You can tie hand-stamped seam binding around your silverware. (This is actually an old pattern that my husband picked up recently on one of his buying trips.)
A vintage photo with a pair of gloves is always dreamy...
An old doorknob can be placed almost anywhere that you want to add character....
A skeleton key placed next to a photo can be quite effective too.
A wonderful friend of mine named Velma recently sent me a collection of old family photos. Thank you, Velma! If you look closely, you’ll notice that the woman in these pictures had her photographs taken in front of a chicken coop. (Little did she know that chicken wire would be so popular for home decorating in the future!) I will be sharing more of these photos as time goes on.
Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Gorgeous photos dear Cindy. I love keys too, I have a large brass key that my grandfather actually made. It is the key to the house where I was born (no longer there!) and is one of my greatest treasures.
