Tea Cup Tuesday

This pattern is Lady Carlyle from Royal Albert.

Tea Cup Tuesday

Hi Everyone--

I received a sweet post today from Terri at Tea Cup Tuesday asking if I had any teacups I could display for this Link Party...Wow, where do I begin? I have 8 complete sets of fine china from Wedgewood to Royal Albert...so, I chose a teacup from my favorite set and thought I would display it for you...I have also been collecting fine china tea cup sets for more than 30 years, so I will have much more to share with you in the future. All of them are English bone china.

My apologies for a lack of flowers and full setting, but I was trying to do this quickly to be on time!

Wow, it sounds very much like, "I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!"

Thank you for visiting me.

Please scroll down to the next post if you would like to see my "tea bag" jars.

Teafully yours,
Cindy

Hi Cindy...how pretty...I really love your teacup and saucer. Don't feel bad about not putting a full set on display. I don't...except for my first set...My grandmother WEdgwood white grapes and vines on white with shell edge wedding china..phew...that was a mouthful. I might repost them at a later date. I think you'd like them for sure :) :) I love lots of frills and flowers :) :) :) I especially like the teacups that have a secret flower on the inside rim of the cup!!! That's a really nice touch :) :) Thanks for sharing these today. I look forward to seeing more of your collections over time :) :) :)
Thanks for letting me borrow the baker rack photo with the coffee :) :) :) I put that on my blog sidebar and made sure to link it to this blog, just in case anyone wants to see more cool stuff :) :) :) Have a lovely Tuesday. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

This is one of my favorite Royal Albert patterns and it never needs any accessories to accompany it. It's gorgeous on its own. Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Cindy,
Just popped in to let you know the necklace arrived today...it is even cuter in person than the pics! Love it... Thank you so much! I plan on setting up a post with a picture of it and a link to your page sometime soon.

BTW, What a lovely cup and saucer, I have always loved this pattern.

I'll keep checking back to see what you are up to....

I'm so glad that you joined our little party this week. Your teacup is gorgeous!!! And so is your Battanburg...not sure if it's a table runner or a tablecloth, but I LOVE it. I'm a sucker for Battanburg lace anything.

Wishing you a wonderful day,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

Cindy/Bloggerette Sister/Teacup Tuesday Babe....

Thanks for coming by to see the camper teapots and leaving posts! Yep, we are on a couple of the same sites! Great minds, right? Your teacup is precious even without the flowers!!!

And your home is quite lovely....so I have to 'follow' you now! Hope you don't mind?! :)

Thanks for visiting my blog and for the invite to your Friday inspirational blog party. That sounds wonderful.

Sadly, we don't currently live in the South. We are from Florida...my husband is a native, and I lived there for over 20 years. We made a (stupid) move to the Northwest a few years ago, but our hearts have remained in the South. WE just love the whole mindset of the South. Add to that, we miss family, we miss the ocean, and a few members of our family have been unable to adjust to living in a winter climate (I am one of them!). So...we are seeking to move back to the South...no further north than Montgomery, Alabama.

Thanks for letting me know you made the jars to sell. If you didn't, I was going to say that you should...they are SO beautiful. I might like to buy one someday...when the budget is better.

Blessings,
Patti
