Blogging Seminar

I have some exciting news--I have a brand-new seminar for Beginning Bloggers. If you are new at blogging and took my first seminar, you may want to take a look at this. It is short and super-simple. It is located at the top of my blog.

My new seminar is called "Blogging: The Wonder of the Journey."

One of the things I discuss is monetizing your blog--that's right--helping you get paid to blog. Did you know that if an ad is on a page and you click it that the person whose blog it is on gets money if it is a Google Adsense ad? Well, if you set up a Google Adsense account, you could be on your way to get compensated for your blogging too! (If you notice, I have an ad placed right under each post.)

If you are not aware of SJ at Homemaker On a Dime and you have an online business, such as an Etsy shop, you will want to link up with her for more exposure to your blog. On Tuesday, I will have a fabulous tutorial! I will be having one each Tuesday for 3 weeks in January.

As I am very busy with "first of the year" business of creating blog headers and buttons for our bloggy friends, I am literally "burning the candle at both ends." So, please understand if my visits are not frequent as this is a very hectic time.

Women: Blogging for Business Seminar

Hi Everyone~

Last week was a very interesting week, indeed, and that included several meetings regarding my career. Yes, I knew that online seminars were "big business." So, when I spoke with one of my business advisers and he told me to cease giving them away, I had to disagree....I wanted to make the information available to everyone--for free.

Many women have expressed that they really NEED a seminar about promoting an online business for themselves. So, "going against the tide," I created one~and it is now available if you go to the tab at the top of my blog.

My blogging seminar was attended by over 1,000 women. That tells me that this is information that women can really take to heart and run with....So, I'm passing the torch for the new class--and now you can run with it if it is something that you are interested in.

How to Blog: A Free Seminar--Class 5

Hi Everyone:

Welcome to Class 5 of our seminar. I design for Dezinaworld, so I hope you don't mind that I have interjected these digital pieces that I created with their amazing fall graphics.

I love the fall season and it was a pleasure creating these.

Class 5: You Want People to LOVE Your Blog

I have been to blogs that have blog parties (events where you link up) or sign up for a giveaway. If they have tons of rules, I will not join. Are they movie stars or something? Let’s get real, folks! I like to keep things as simple as possible and if I get lost in a mire of “rules,” I’m so “outta there!”

So, if you have a blog party or a giveaway, keep that in mind. You are trying to get people to LOVE your blog--not to be afraid of it! lol

Okay, so tomorrow I am ready to tell you a “Perils of Pauline” story about when I first started blogging. Do you want to hear it? If so, just let me know in the comments box and I will “tell all!”
