Collage Tutorial

Hi Everyone~

I am on the Design Teams of Scrap for Help and Shabby Cottage Studio. For the month of March, we are asked to create something made from corrugated board for Scrap for Help...so, I made this collage using materials from Shabby Cottage Studio.

First, I took a piece of corrugated board....

I painted it with gesso...

Then, I added burlap, as well as flowers and a chipboard design from Shabby Cottage Studio.

Next, I punched 2 holes at the top...

I tied black seam binding through it to use as a hanger....The seam binding is from Shabby Cottage Studio. I also added lace.

One pink feather--and all done!!!

If you need any art supplies or graphics, please visit Shabby Cottage Studio.

If you would like to create something from corrugated board in March, the challenge at Scrap for Help will be a month long event that you are invited to link up to in a few days.

I hope to see you on March 1 with a special giveaway!!!

Thank you for understanding my decision to become a "Once-a-Month" blogger, to blog less and embrace life more! I am so glad I got this post made in time as I will be offline Sunday so that I can spend the day with my family.

XO
Cindy

Thanks for the tutorial. Even though I might TRY to do this it would still not be in any way close to how beautifully done yours is!

I am so happy for you, Cindy, that you are taking some time to enjoy your family and your life away from the computer. You got it right, girl! xo Diana

So pretty as usual, Cindy. Love that pink feather. Glad you're enjoying your balance and taking the time to smell the roses. Oh, I can almost see the wheels in your creative mind turning right about now with those last three words. ;)
Love ya, and thank you again for always participating in my quaint little parties which you know I do not like to host AT ALL. This was my last and I'm glad you were part of it.

As always a beautiful tag, Cindy. And a once a month blogger. You are so right. This whole blogging thing can eat up your life and time. The computer has been a big time drain to me. I need to do less computer and more creating.

Bless your heart for taking the lead.
Hugs,
Coleen in Ukraine
