Hi Everyone~
I have just created this collage chair that I
entitled "A Nesting Place."
1.
then decoupaged with layers and layers of
music paper and altered bird images.
2.
3.
4.
because I'd like your opinion....
5.
use?
6.
7.
I just KNOW you'll give me some good advice on this
one!!
I just had to find the song "At Last,"
because my art dream of
this chair came true at last!! The truth?
When I hung the sign on it, I cried!

GOR-geous! I love, love, love your chair, Cindy! I would definitely go with photo #5. It really shows the true colors (as much as I love sepia toned photos) the best, I think. And with that photo, they can also see just how beautiful your creation is! Bravo! Now give your poor little fingers a much deserved break:)
I say #3 or #5, Cindy! A beautiful chair. xo
I think # 5 Cindy it shows your glorious work and the true colors!! Very special!

I agree to go with the color shots. I would use one close up and then the one with the pull back of the boots on it. :)
Hi Cindy~
I can believe that took you 50 hours! You are amazing! So, tell me, how do you do so much?
I like the first one - that is so perfect for today's popularity of whites and I like the sepia tones.
Blessings to you!
Holly
Cindy,
That chair is adorable. Also I love my gifts! I posted them on my blog today.

Cindy so emotional!
You have created a resting place for the heart of ones who love birds, (Me)
I could see one of my wire cages sitting on it with the chair sitting in a corner making its own music :)
I would use color so they know what they are getting, on a post you can photo shop it any dreamy look you want!
Shipping it? well you can ship Fed-ex its not to big to be boxed and the rate wont be to bad it won't weight to much and most times bigger items ship cheaper through fed-ex then US. post. GreyHound ships as well great rate with them, but they have to have a station to pick it up at.
You can be proud of this piece, and maybe it won't leave your home you may decide to hold onto it awhile :)
xoxo
Keep inspiring beautiful things and your joy in creating!
What is joy?
It is a bird
That we all want to catch.
It is the same bird
That we all love to see flying

Photo 5& 6 Sepia, if you can keep the color in the birds. Me I'm not techie good enough. You want to draw them to the chair not the grass. If it helps I used manage a retail shop and did all the windows and displays. :)
Fantastic !! How very beautiful. You are so diverse Cindy, you can put your hand to anything and create something entirely gorgeous,I bet you sell lots in your Etsy store.

oh wow hun this is fantastic gosh can imagine how long this took as the detail you can see,how much you have put into it,oh you are so clever hun this is just amazing hugs cherylxxxx
Wow, this is just so gorgeous. I love sheet music on stuff and it's a brilliant idea tying it in with the songbirds. I think the general consensus is picture no:5. Maybe with the chair sepia and the birds in full colour? It's a lovely object, either way. You must be delighted with how it turned out.
Lovely chair, but I am not good at deciding! And I do not know what transport possibilities you have over there! Hugs, Valerie
Amazing job Cindy!! It really shows, the effort you put into this beautiful chair! I would post the coloured pictures though, since then people would really see how gorgeous it has become!! Hugs, Ira
Oh Cindy I just adore coming here to see what you have done ... just divine as always ... love the ideas you have it really amazes me ... big hugz x

Photograph No.1 is definitely speaking to me. I like the colour choice and the boots on the chair. That is my humble opinion of course.

I think I'd probably go with #4, Cindy! It's just lovely! I think that picture shows off the legs, the seat and the fact that it is a chair all in one.

Morning neighbor~
I say #5 shows all of the work you have done and shows the beauty of the chair. But I love #1 and 6...so dreamy.
As for the shipping, good luck...lol. I saw someone at the post office Friday, that had a huge hamper type thing...they were measuring and chatting, the customer paid and they took that item as is, no wrapping behind the counter??? Certainly they didn't ship it like that? So I am thinking they offer a service to box or crate behind the scenes? Might be worth asking.
It is really a charming chair. xo
All photos are great...UPS can answer your shipping questions.
I like the color photos...and it really is gorgeous! You are so talented my friend, and it's probably sold by now! Enjoy your day! ♥
LOVE that chair!!!Wow 50 hours, amazing. I would go with #5 too. You are not going to have that baby very long. Someone will definitely 'need' it:)

Eeeeeee!! It's gorgeous. Cindy, we think so much alike that the minute I heard the music I knew it was because of the finished work of the chair BEFORE I read what you wrote. hahahaha
You did an amazÃng job, my dear. Hats off to you. The sepia looks dreamy but as a shopper I'd like to see the colors. I like #4 and #6 together. Dreamy.
Oh Cindy!! THAT is marvelous!! Just stunning! WOW!!!!!
I can't pick which picture is the best! They are all fabulous!!!

Hi Cindy. I love the items and your wonderful attention to detail. I also fall in the group that can't decide which photo is best. Buyers should really see the legs of the chair too because it had to take skill and patience to get that covered!
A big Parish hug..........Angie
Cindy, I would go with #4 or #5. That is a ton of hours to put into a project, but look at the unique and beautiful piece you created. Pure beauty! Have a lovely evening!
WOWIE wow wow! Your chair is fantastic! I love it! Boy do I know the time you spent working on it.
I adore all the color photo's. Gorgeous!!!

Hi Cindy,
The chair is beautiful and love what you have done with it.
I would use the colour photograph, 6 & 7, as much as I love sepia, but will be good to see what one is buying.
I love all the music and birds.
Happy week
Hugs
Carolyn

cindy,
what a treasure. am in a big fibromyalgia flare here. i still am going to answer your email.
big hugs,

Very pretty makeover, Cindy. Though it obscures the chair, I like the image with the washboard in front of the chair. It makes you WANT to see more of both.
Hope to see you at the party tonight.

Beautiful makeover.... !! And I love the tag... !!
Hi Cindy, I might be late on this, It's been a while. I think photos 3 and 6. The chair is wonderful. I have two little chairs waiting for me to be inspired. You are brave to sell them, I'm afraid of the packing and shipping of large and heavy items. Good luck. I'm going to try to catch up on what you've been doing. Hugs, Linda
A collage chair...what a great idea! You did a beautiful job. I like photo #6 and then maybe a close-up as well.
