Victorian Christmas Journal

Hi Everyone~Thank you for visiting during my Victorian Christmas Week~Here is a Victorian Christmas journal that I created~

I used all kinds of embellishments and images from Dezinaworld.

I lined the chipboard book with pages from a vintage dictionary....

Then, I added cheesecloth and lace....

This journal was created to store Christmas memories...perfect gift for families and so FUN to make. It was fashioned from a chipboard book and the pages were simply covered with various papers. It actually makes a beautiful display to set in an entry or living room standing up to see all the layers. The recipient can then add their own journaling inside and photos. It could become a treasured family heirloom.

So, if you'd like to make one, simply purchase a chipboard children's book at your local store and start covering the pages! I also punched a hole a the top in order to put seam binding through it for a special added touch.

THERE'S STILL TIME TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAY AT THE POST BELOW!

Important Note:

As some of you know, I am in the midst of writing a book entitled "Angels at My Door." It is an ebook for Amazon.

Well, I had finished writing it and suddenly realized that many of you may have stories that you would like to include in it.

If you had an your own angel encounter or something quite extraordinary happen in your life--miracles, interventions and such, and you'd like to tell about it, I'd love to include your story.

All you would need to do is send me an email stating it briefly. Send it to: Cindylou_20@hotmail.com

Once I receive it, I will edit it and put it in quotes...I need your first and last name and location (either your state if in the U.S. or your country if outside the U.S.)

I think that so many of us have had miracles in our lives...and I think that when people read about them, they realize that they are not the only ones who have encountered such events.

So, if you have a story that you would like to tell, just write it briefly and dash it off to me. I will be doing this all in the next few days, so just let me know if you'd like to be included.

Also, if you send me a short story, just make sure that you check your mail often as I will be editing and sending it right back to you...If I can't reach people, their stories won't be able to go in...

If you are included, you would receive an "advance copy" via email when it is completed and approved by Amazon. I would send it in a Word doc. format directly to your email.

XO
Cindy

Oh Gosh Cindy, looks as though you are going to be inundated with stories, alas there are no Angels knocking at my door YET!
Has something bad have to happen for a miracle to take place?
Love the Journal and it is an excellent idea to make one, and I have all the intentions in the world 'but' there's that word again, I should not make excuses, I just need to knuckle down and start.
Smiles:)

Cindy,
I have been sort of out of commission and did not know that you were writing this book. I am still quite blown away with the story you told me about your former husband. Just amazing. I do believe in angels and have been told several times (by people who are psychic or highly intuitive) that I have several protecting me, Gabriel actually, and St. Michael and St. Francis. I do feel it.
Your journal...oh, how lovely. I am amazed at your work and how you seem to never run out of ideas of wonderful things to make.
Going to go check what I missed now!
Love,
Suz

This is a sweet book, makes me want to dive in and make one, these days for me...looking for UPLIFTING...maybe a gratitude journal?
I have missed many posts in the last week or so, we lost our sweet furbaby...and my days have been very dark. But I am trying to remember the wonderful years with him, and heal...
I do hope things are going well with your hubby. And he is healing and getting stronger, YOU take care of you...as well.
Sending love to your family, xo
