Vintage Book Bundles

Hi Everyone~

I love books, especially those tied into book bundles for display--I think they're dreamy. For these I have attached hand-stamped muslin with French writing and created 2 tags...The female graphic is from Dezinaworld--I adore this image!

Today, my husband and I combed antique malls where we found these books and this vintage camera--I just had to put the camera in the photo!

(Just Sold)

This book bundle is part of my 2 Market 2 Market section of my Etsy store where everything is $10 and under--I hope you'll take a look to snag some bargains!

I would like to dedicate this post in celebration of my friend's upcoming birthday this week. Lynne is an amazing artist and friend. Please join me in extending warm birthday wishes to her. Her blog is at: Adorn I am sure that many of you know Lynne too as she is just wonderful and so inspiring. I remember when I got an email from her once and how she talked about loving to read, so I thought books and the pure dreaminess of vintage images would put a smile on her face as she always creates such delicate treasures with beautiful graphics. Happy Birthday, Lynne!

AND I hope you're ALL having a great weekend!!!

XO
Cindy

Dear Cindy
I actually have tears in my eyes that you would dedicate a post on your beyond beautiful Blog to me.
For you to remember that I have a love for books make this even more special. Actually, I am slightly lost for words at the moment. Let me try to explain my feelings - I never imagined when I started a Blog that it would be a connection to like-minded people who continually showed their kindness and generosity not only with beautiful gifts arriving in the mail but also a kindness in their words and also in actions. To count such people as friends, friends that yes I may never meet but still friends nevertheless, well that is a gift in itself.
Cindy, thank you for such a special birthday gift, this is a gift from your heart, thank you so much.
My thank you is one that is bursting with joy.
Wishes
Lynne

Hi Dearest Cindy - I just love that bundle of old books. There is so much history in them and boy have they been around a long time I bet - look a bit shabby - a bit like me (LOL)! You just can't beat old! It's the quality of how these were made and the camera too.
How are you going sweet woman?
Big hugs,
Suzy

What clever marketing Cindy. I have a ton of vintage books. I've been selling a lot on e-bay but I still have a lot left. I don't think I want to venture into the etsy world, though. Happy Birthday to your friend, Lynne! Happy Memorial day weekend to you!

Hi Cindy,I am not a crafter, but was introduced to Lynn Moncreiffe's blog by her Dad who plays golf with my husband. She is so talented and I find it very interesting visiting other blogs which Lynn mentions in the e-mails I receive. What a lot of clever people out there. I have never been artistic apart from knitting.I am in awe of what I have seen on other blogs.
Have a good day.
