Faerie Wishes Week Begins!

With the onset of spring, I ventured down my garden path to a large opening until I reached a sea of emerald-colored grass in a beautiful meadow...

Walking a little further, I spotted a lovely garden behind some chicken wire. And to my surprise, I saw a faerie peering through the fence....She had the prettiest face and softest wings.

A few feet away from her, I spied another faerie enjoying a sunbath. I said, “Hello” and smiled. Before I knew it, these two little imps giggled, winked, and disappeared! I tried to find them, but to no avail.

But, when I got home, there was a collection of fairies sitting on my table! This is the first one I saw...

And then, this one appeared! There were more and I'll show them to you this week...

Also, I am having a giveaway for this lovely calendar in a CD box. If you’d like a chance to win it, just leave me a message on here and become a follower (if you aren’t already.)

Wishing you a beautiful week and hoping that all your faerie dreams come true!

(All faerie images have flown over from Shabby Cottage Studio where every day is magical!)

(The faerie image of the girl with the yellow flower is from The Graphics Fairy--our "true life fairy" that so many of us have come to love!)

A beautiful post as always Cindy. Lovely photos and stories to go with. I so love fairies. When I was very young, I had a tiny wee doll that lived in a matchbox and I pretended she was my real fairy. Do we ever grow up? I wonder.

I awoke sleepy eyed this morning and I felt the slightest whisper of a touch on my cheek, I shook my head and I saw the flutter of a tiny pair of wings amidst a pink glow. I followed the glow downstairs to the computer, where this story awaited me! Afterward I looked under the bench in our garden pavillion to see the pink fairly light glowing in the windows of the petite faerie castle my daughter had lovingly created and placed in a safe spot...
