Attention All Artists and Crafters!

Hi Everyone--

I have a new blog called I Owe it All to Him...If you click the button on the top right, it will take you there.
It is solely for inspiration and prayer--a quiet place to find a sanctuary.

If you would like to be a guest artist on that blog, just let me know...I could use anything that is spiritual, joyful--whatever you think would be appropriate. And of course, I would list who created it and a blog address so people could reach your site.

I just thought it was a neat way to share...You all inspire me!

I would write an inspirational story to go with it and use it as a theme for the day.
Hugs and blessings,

Brag Monday and Boardwalk Bragfest!

Mixed Media Monday--"Something New"

A New Birth and a New Blog

Last year, a dove built her nest on the wreath on our front door--what a surprise!

Months later, after the babies were born and weaned, they all flew away, however, the bird’s nest remained.

When I heard about the “something new” challenge, I decided to use branches from the nest to incorporate into this journal cover...

It is made from batik fabric that has been stenciled with gesso. It includes soy silk and fibers, as well as commercial embellishments.

To reach this challenge, please go to:

Please scroll down my blog as I have 2 drawings going on right now and winners will be chosen on July 15,2010! There is a "Paris" tag you could win AND a French Beauty necklace!!

Check Out this Beautiful Drawing!

A New Sorority Begins!

Hi Everyone,

I have this brand-new blog and it is just in time for the Bloggerette Sorority to begin.

I have created a digital picture using a background from the Graphics Fairy and
then, created a mixed media tin. It is to honor you women who "do it all"
and still have time to enjoy the important things in life!

AND, the winner of this is....Marsha at Sassy Mini Dolls!

My First Post!

Hi Everyone-

For those of you who are familiar with my website,
I realize that this new blog "home" is going to seem quite different!

Thank you for coming to visit...I'm really excited about my "new digs"
here at Whimsical Musings. I am still trying to rearrange furniture,
or in this case, blog buttons, headers and all that makes this
come to life.

Because the 4th of July is coming up soon, I wanted to share
this mixed media birdhouse with you--It was created with
images from the Graphics Fairy and Vintage Image
Craft. Have a happy 4th of July!
